International schools academic results

Posy_and_I

Dear all,

We are looking to move to Mauritius with our 13 year old daughter and are trying to choose a school for her.

We have looked at Northfields, Westcoast, Bocage and Lighthouse. We got a really nice feel for those schools.

However looking at their examination results, IB for the first 3 and A-Levels for Lighthouse, I am concerned. Without sounding critical their results seem rather low. I was a bit shocked to be honest. We lived in other expat locations which were not big cities and the results were higher.

What is people's experience and feedback and did your children get into good universities in the UK or else afterwards. How is the level of teaching and support given to students? Are you generally happy?

Again not being critical but trying to assess so we can make the best possible decision.

Thank you so much for your help.

Hi

We highly recommend  LE BOCAGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ..

The level of teaching and support  is best compared to northfields and the other schools.

my son had good grades and had no issue to get university in UK and australia.
