I'm 62 and planning on retiring to the island in the next few months but want something to do with my time,  I can't play golf every day !

I like your suggestion regarding a house, I do my own renovations at home, so that would be good.

@craigconley Play Padel, paddleboard, cycle, golf, volunteer at a dog shelter, gym, start a small business. You have to build a life but it's easier to do than some other places. Sure, you've lost your networks and goods can be harder to come by but the locals are very helpful and you truly do have a lot of freedom.
