No idea about taxes since these are usually taken care of by companies. Ask the company to quote salary after deduction of taxes. Never heard about the spending 40% rule.

No idea about housing too ... generally safe here but you have to take precautions like anywhere else .. & also depends on the locality.

Tripoli is quite safe for females if you take necessary precautions ... since your daughters are of school-going age, they should be escorted (public transport not good) and should not take taxis by themselves. Most schools have buses they could use or you would have to hire some regular private transportation/ a driver for them (through a known person).

what facilities do i get in furnished house provided by waha oil company.. which locality....how safe ??? Some in Regatta camp, some in Janzour Tourist village, safe enough, not the most modern of places, I don't know what level of furnishing they provide. Again, this should be in your contract.

They would need to be driven to & from school, regardless of the fact they're female. There are plenty of threads on this forum regarding safety and attitudes towards women.

the only international school with bus transport is the GEMS international school.

Ok, It is safe and good. There are some ups and downs but dont worry. You will get used.

Waha will cover your taxes. I believe we have some members on this forum who works for Waha. hope they see this thread soon. they will be great help for ya.
