Yep, I used to goto the beach it happened on and wasn't surprised. Rich young tw@ts on expensive toys daddy had brought them. Showing off to eachother. Add in the fact they were drinking beer and a complete disregard for other people. Fatal mix.

And before someone with rose tinted spectacles comes along. Yes, they were drinking alcohol on a public beach.

Come to Benghazi!  The fellow revving his beautiful brand new jetski up and down perilously close to the bathers is the LIFEGUARD.  He has lovely long ringletty hair, hairy chest and a medallion, and also drives the Landrover around like a lunatic.  I reckon he's got his lifeguard training from watching 'Baywatch'

ah.... we are dangerous crazy drivers if you like it more but, cant drive cars, you are wrong to say we don't know....Libyans are all formula 1 qualified drivers:D

I have seen it before. You can not dive in... You must not go up without checking around if brown objects spreading white bubbles are approaching!!

Why dont they draw limits with ropes?? All the countries by the seaside have these "water sports traffic lanes" for these kinds of sea "vehicles". No one swims there and no toy violates the poor public swimmers..

Where were we guys? Forgot it for a second there...
