I am new to the forum, so wanted to say a big warm hello, and hope I will make some friends on here! I am moving to Nairobi from Canada in July. I am excited and have so many questions. It would be great to hear from others who call this city home, so I can begin to get a feel for the place.

In a few words- what do you love about Nairobi/Kenya?

I love the fact that I can get whatever I want here in the shops. I've lived in other towns in Kenya and it was frustrating to go looking for something in the shops and not finding it.

Hi novo,Nairobi/Kenya is a beautiful place to be.The people are warm,the landscape is awesome,you will fall in love with the place,trust me.most if not all commodities you may need are available at your convenience at favorable prices,security-wise,in a nice neighbourhood you have less to worry about,the list could go on and on but basically if indeed you are hoping to feel at home away from home,then this is the place to be.Hope you will enjoy being here,feel most welcome.will be glad to help if you need me to.
