I am originally from the US but have lived in Ethiopia and travelled to several East African countries. I am currently living in North Carolina and am considering moving to Mombasa for retirement. I already have a place in Mombasa City to live but would like advice on best places to go to meet Kenyans and other ex-pats in order to learn the culture and language. Also I would appreciate any important dos/don'ts so I don't look too ignorant. Any advice would be appreciated
