A lot of people are working remotely due to this pandemic. About 9 years ago I worked here remotely for a South African company. I'm married to a Ghanaian so a resident's permit wasn't a problem but that had a no work clause however think there may be a grey area if the company doesn't have a physical presence in Ghana. People do Web design etc for overseas clients and then there's Airbnb. Not sure how all these types of work are categorised by Immigration.
Very legal. I work remotely as a freelance writer for brands in Canada and USA and I get paid via paypal. I see it as leveraging the power of the internet to make $$ and spend cedis
As a Ghanaian Citizen you have the right to live and work in Ghana. The person asking is an expat so doesn't have those rights without the necessary documents.
