Bringing back my bride from Ghana.

Graplxpert3

I have lived abroad before in tge United Kingdom and it was quite an ordeal to obtain a work permit...having to leave the country,  justvto re enter...but all I want to do is bring back my wife to be from Ghana back to the states. If I happen to marry her as planned,  why is it going to be so difficult to get married i Ghana. ..Come back to my home and live happily ever after! I know that it's not going to be that easy..but what else could it entail!

Not sure it will be difficult to get married in Ghana although you might have to prove it is a genuine marriage and that you have known your intended spouse for a number of years.
Once married you should be able to get a visa for your wife but you might have to wait two years. I suggest you go to an immigration website to get the information you need

My friend, your tone and plea for information and advise comes across as though, your main objective is to get her out of Ghana, more than a desire to get married happily ever after. Because of the abuse of privileges and immigration protocols, stringent laws and guidelines are put in place to curb abuse. The onus rest on you to prove to the embassy how genuine your request is. It shall not be through public opinion nor individual experience. Every case is treated on its own merit. Wish you and your intended spouse the best.

I know nothing about this topic is as simple as it could be. I intend to marry a beautiful young Ghanaian woman and bring her back to live here in the U.S. with me. If necessary, I will travel to Ghana where we will marry legally by Ordinance Marriage, which is recognized by the U.S. Embassy as a true and legal marriage. After obtaining a marriage certificate, we will proceed to the U.S. Embassy for a spouse visa or whatever is appropriate. I don't see why it should take an inordinate amount of time. Why do you mention that it might take as long as two years?

Often you have to prove it is not just a marriage of convenience

Why wouldn't it be that easy? Everything I've read indicates that your bride is entitled to a spouse visa, or K-3. Check this out:
