Furnished vs Unfurnished Apartment/Flat

Good morning everyone,

Can I please have some opinions on whether it would be more cost effective to rent an furnished 2 or 3 bedroom flat or an unfurnished one and then buy what we need in Alexandria?聽

If you will live in Alexandria, I prefer an unfurnished flat then you can pick your own style.
Rent rate depends on the area you will be renting in.
But it depends on the period of stay, so if you will have a long contract, go for the unfurnished option.
If not you can pick a furnished one as cost would be less compared to a turnover of a bulk payment for the furniture + monthly rent.聽
