Hello.

I have a girlfriend who has meet an egyptian man on holliday in egypt.
They want be married in the future.
BUT
He claims:
That he has debt, so he got prisoned for one month, because he had not payed his ex wife.
That he must pay 3000 Egypt poundt monthly to his ex wife in child support.

How do the legal system work in egypt?
Are the amounts he write to min freind and ask her to help him pay this high in egypt?

I don't really know how much it should be but a woman i know who is divorced, takes less than 1000 EGP from her husband for the child support. So i don't know if it's different according to each case or what.

My advice is whatever he is saying the truth or not.聽 let him solve his own problems himself and take the responsibility of his mistakes as they wanna get married and he will聽 take the responsibility of covering his home needs after marrying your friend.
