What preventive care plans and measures are available in Egypt?: They exist - Facebook is a good place to look in English or some other language to get started. Bet to ask for referrals from friends.

Can expats easily access preventive healthcare services?: Depends on their healthcare plan/income and expectations.

Does health insurance cover preventive care in Egypt or is there any other scheme available? Any tips to choose the right plan? If you have an inclusive/executive-level healthcare plan with a company/government, they usually do; however, it is not usual if you just take travel insurance.

How to get informed about preventive care plans or events: any useful website, hotline, or media that you’ve found helpful? It depends on what you include in 'preventative healthcare' I think first, you need to define what you mean by this so that answers will be more relevant for you. I see healthcare in a wholistic sense: body-mind-spirit so how I eat, what I do, who I spend time with, how I think, and how I activate my faith are all included for me as 'preventative care' because living consciously, meditating/reflecting/prayer, eating well and doing my best to help others are all essential elements of self-care to maximise mental/physical/spiritual health and well-being for me. I don't depend on locale-based programs because I move around too much. So I use the internet to find the applications, services, and professionals I am looking for that work with my schedule - which means they change all the time. One of my favourite apps however is [link moderated] where I can find ancient wisdom, science, sound and tech for guided meditations/affirmeations/prayers, body-movement practices and talks to help with keeping a healthy body/mind/spirit.

What is the local attitude towards preventive care and how did you adjust to it?: Not sure what you mean by this - the majority of the population in Egypt make less than $2 per day and spend a significant portion of their day trying to obtain that and take care of obligations/responsibilities of children and/or parents as well, so many do not have the luxury to ponder on such concepts - they just do the best they can with what they know and leave the rest to God. I 'adjust' to this by accepting that not everyone will have my concept or understanding of healthcare and I take that responsibility for myself.
