Can a man and a woman be JUST friends?
Yes they can be,there's nothing wrong with that. The reason why is that sometimes we feel more open, secure and free to the opposite sex.So for me i don't see any thing wrong.
Yes indeed they can...for me it s really nice to ask a male friend what would a man feel if i do this and that helps me better understand the way men behave and react
actually if the woman is hot I don't think a straight man would JUST WANNA BE FRIENDS LOL:P
but eventually they will sleep together unless one of them has zero interest in the other intimately.
Hey Riyadh!its doesn't matter hot, cold, handsome or whatever if you are just friend you cant have sex period.unless you have feeling for each other and you see that you don't consider yourself to be friends and you want more than friendship.
OF course can. It depend on both of you how you manage that and try to avoid too much physical contact.
Of course they can, they can also be friends who sleep together!!!
That does also exist

actually you are right but making friends is the hard part since almost every girl is afraid

Thay are not afraid, they don't just want to jeopardize their life. Bring them in open country for sure they will go out with you. just saying.

Jeopardise their life?
It's just coffee not poison and I'm not a serial killer
In addition to that it'll be in a mall coffee shop.
I did that with my last GF

It's not. There are a lot of people here who adhere to 14th century ideas about humanity who want nothing more than to convert others to their dark & twisted ideals.

So if you ever get married, your husband and/or wife has something to look forward to.
It's not. There are a lot of people here who adhere to 14th century ideas about humanity who want nothing more than to convert others to their dark & twisted ideals.

It is your way of thinking nice lady.
Its not adherence to 14th century ideas. It is just the moral value. If you do not mind sleeping with a mail other than your husband then what right do you have to bar him sleeping with other ladies? Why then you cry for loyality? What needs of conducting marriage then? Why do you wish to be a legal mother? Why at all you use the word " legal" in this case?
You make babies with all your male nabours and keep them wondering in street.
The idea of " HOME " is based on loyality to your spouse.
Why can not make your husband your best male friend? If you need a male friend ( sleep with or not ) other than your husband, there is something wrong in your enlighten and straight ideas, nice lady.
People here are crazy!!!!
How can one live in a world where women and men CANNOT be friends?? Mind = blown.

I agree with Hailey. It's in our human nature to have the urge and need for women and vice versa.
Sorry man but you had too much to drink or something crazy ideas.

Gee, why doesn't it surprise me that somebody who just thinks he's some kind of super-stud would have this opinion?
I wonder if you've ever considered the fact that two individuals of the opposite sex (regardless of their orientation) might place such a high value on the FRIENDSHIP itself that neither of them would want to risk losing it by becoming romantically involved? My friend, you may be an ADULT, but still lightyears away from growing up. It might surprise you to find this out, but SEX is not the only reason for living. Cheers,

thank you for your enlightenment.
you are right they can just be friends.
However, you can reply without harassing me like i'm a filthy sex-aholic pig who just reached puberty.
I just have to respond to this.
faisalkh wrote:Its not adherence to 14th century ideas. It is just the moral value.
There's no morality outside of the Dark Ages?
faisalkh wrote:If you do not mind sleeping with a mail other than your husband then what right do you have to bar him sleeping with other ladies? Why then you cry for loyality? What needs of conducting marriage then?
I'm not married and I haven't slept with any mail since I forgot to pay the bills.
faisalkh wrote:Why do you wish to be a legal mother?
How can I be an illegal mother?
faisalkh wrote:Why at all you use the word " legal" in this case?
I didn't use the word legal until just now. Perhaps you are thinking of yourself - see above.
faisalkh wrote:You make babies with all your male nabours and keep them wondering in street.
I don't remember doing that. Maybe you can help me find all these babies and my nabours.
faisalkh wrote:The idea of " HOME " is based on loyality to your spouse.
My idea of home is where I live.
faisalkh wrote:Why can not make your husband your best male friend?
I'm still not married. If I were, I'd hope he was my best friend. But since I'm not someone's property and I live in the 21st century, I can have more than 1 friend.
faisalkh wrote:If you need a male friend ( sleep with or not ) other than your husband, there is something wrong in your enlighten and straight ideas, nice lady.
I would agree with the exact opposite of that. If you're afraid to have friends other than your spouse, there is something very wrong in your world. I was mocking you at first, but now I feel sad for you. Rejecting so much that this amazing world has to offer just to live in the past – very, very far in the past – must be very lonely & frightening.
plaindot wrote:People here are crazy!!!!

They're not crazy. They're just afraid of anything different from what they're used to - which is kind of strange coming from expats.

1- There's morality in all ages but the range differs.
2- faisalkh, you have no right to say that to hailey. some men have dignity some don't same thing for woman. Hailey is an independent respectful lovely woman i can tell that from what she wrote.
3- Home is where you love to be and miss when you're away from it.
4-what do you mean someone's property is that your idea of marriage ? Marriage is everyones dream not nightmare.
5- when you get used to something so long you begin to forget that its wrong eventually you'll see it as if it were right, surprisingly.

Nobody but Nobody can choose a person to feel attracted to, I read cases in which friends of the opposite sex felt for each other. attraction is not a choice. Geez it seems like Mr. wjwoodward never had been a teenager once.

Thank you
Finally somebody understands what I'm saying
Sure,
It required respect for one's self and love for the other person being a lady or a man.

Thanks AsianLover, I got your back 100% partner. Adding to my post above: most people who fall in love with their best friend didn't actually planned it or wanted it to happen! It just occurs whether is wrong or right.
Just look up online about anyone who fell in love with a friend but is seeking either to be in a relationship with him/her or to simply forget him/her.

The problem here is that a lot of these people have absolutely no respect for anyone but themselves - if that.

Yes, Uncourse they can
The votes are in.
Women and men can be friends – 386 votes
Women and men should never be friends because that would scare me – 21 votes
We should return to a simpler time when women were property and killing people was all the rage – 274 votes
There is always a limit of every relationship.
Always opposite attracts, so a man and a woman can be good friends but that depends on both whether they want it the friends way or the other way.
