Correct - Sihanoukville actually has a map of best snorkelling & diving islands... but the crabs aren't as good as Kep!! Can't say if Kep is dearer, but you have far more choice in Phnom Penh or Siem Reap. Read More

Real estate agency by oldsarge
Can anyone suggest a reputable real estate rental agency in Siem Reap? I am looking for a good company to do business with. I will be looking for a rental house in the future. Stafford Cowles

If you want a bargain and have loads of time on your hands... sure, do what an experienced ex-pat would do and 'walk the streets', I have been here numerous times but have always had better things to do with my time, plus, money is not so much of a ... Read More

I share your passion for Kep... a beautiful place. Far exceeds Sihanoukvills or Kompot as far as a place to live. BUT, as an ex-pat...? I have no personal experience other than several visits (I live in Siem Reap - 'centre of the ex-pat universe'), ... Read More

The Warehouse is an English-style pub just across from the Old Market on Hospital Street. Busy most nights late, on Thursday they have a Trivia night that attracts around 100 people, mostly ex-pats. Beer is $1 for draught, cheap cocktails, pool ... Read More

Riding an ATV in Cambodia by Djaid48
Hi Everyone New to this site and not yet an expat. I have seen a few videos with people riding ATVs down the back roads and they have number plates on them. Can anyone tell me if this is legal and where I could find a shop with the biggest range to ...

My experience is that nobody 'rents' motor bikes. Only cycles. At under $999 to buy a 2nd hand motorbike, that could be the best option. Read More

Anybody want to meet up for a $0.50 draft? by Alliecat
These are the best beer prices I've ever seen but would be fun to have somebody to drink with! I'm in the old market area. Anybody around?!?

You have no need to advertise for drinking mates. Simply go to Picasso's on Alley West ANY night of the week. Of course, if you are a nerd, you won't last long at Pic's! Read More

Vet services in Siem Reap? by lizbarrow
Hi Everyone, I have recently 'adopted' a kitten (about 6months old) and she is currently living outside our apartment. She was rescued from my school and as the term was finishing I was the only 'live-out' teacher that could take her with me. The ...

The only two European vets have left SR and the provincial vet near Angkor High school appears to be the 'best' option currently. I am in the same fix, unless I can find a good home for my two beloved Shipoos, I may have no option other than to take ... Read More
