Ojutan is right, it would be best to call a cab rather than take the bus. Buses are overcrowded and not very clean. If you do call a cab, be sure to call a reputable company like City Taxi etc. Read More

There are many expat hangouts in UB, I would recommend going to Grand Khan Irish Pub which is next to the Drama Theatre. It has a good selection of beers and live music. A lot of foreigners hang out there! Read More
