Flying In Mexico with a passport card by Yishai Gidon

I am wondering, as a US citizen, if I can fly within Mexico with just a passport card and not a passport book.I will be wanting to fly from Guadalajara to Tijunaa but do not know what documents the Mexican airlines require.
