Taxes on US Citizens Working in London by Chris2000

What are the taxes on US citizens working in London? Are there credits/exclusions to avoid double taxation? I have been trying to research this on the IRS and HM Revenue & Customs web sites, but it is very difficult to determine the answer.

I used this company, sevenseasworldwide.com/, which was slow but worked just fine for shipping several boxes of books. It took a couple of months for them to arrive to the west coast of the US, but it worked well and nothing was damaged. Read More

Oxford is pretty, but also expensive - housing can be pretty pricey. Jericho is a great place to live, but again - pricey. Summertown, a little farther out, is also nice. You can find some deals down the Abingdon Road to the south, but there's very ... Read More

Going out in Oxford by expat.com

Hi there, Which are your 10 favorite places to go out in Oxford? Which places would you recommend to newcomers? (restaurants, pubs, discos, theaters, cinemas, concert halls...) Thanks!

I lived in Oxford for 3 years, been back in the US for two, but I don't think the information is too dated. Good pubs and restaurants abound in Oxford. Around the north part of town, check out Jericho - I was particularly fond of the Jericho ... Read More
