Medical Aid / Health Insurance by Nadey
Good Day, Does anyone have experience or advice on obtaining Medical Aid or Health Insurance in Mauritius for Non-Mauritian citizens? We are relocating to Mauritius from South Africa in December. Thanks.

You would either need to consult with your current Med Aid in SA such as Discovery and see if they will offer you cover whilst in Mauritius or else contact BUPA. BUPA do have an office in SA and they will be able to assist you. Good luck Read More

Not sure whether you booked your air tickets through a travel agency. If so, ask them to issue you with a "dummy" ticket that shows that you will be returning to the US in line with the date that you will be travelling to Reunion. ... Read More

Airlines tickets by karenverster
Good day, Has anyone recently travelled to or from South Africa to Mauritius with an airline ticket that does show you middle name(s) on it but your passport shows the middle name? Did you have any trouble at immigration or were you able to pass ...

As long as your first name and surname printed on the ticket are the same as that in your passport then there should be no issue. Generally it is best to only have your first & surname on the ticket otherwise it can be a difficult task for ... Read More
