libyan dinar exchange...? by Gager
Anyone know if and where I can exchange libyan dinar? I left with 900 dinar in my wallet and am now in Italy...not sure anyone will take the money...

Is it feasible to leave Tripoli and visit the 'sights' eg Leptis Magna during Ramadan? Will be visiting for 2 weeks and hoping to get out there for a day. Also, are hotels open for refreshments during the day at all or is Libya v. v. strict?

Thanks, take it OM = Old Man? ;) Have spoken again to the consulate - this time I was told that I have to have an Authorisation Number and a letter from DH/OM's employer. Dread to think how long that's going to take... Will try phoning round ... Read More
