Hi, has anyone had any experience with transferring money from an Australian bank to a bank in Kazakhstan? (I'm with Sberbank in Kazakhstan). The ATM fees are starting to bite ... Australian banks don't use the SWIFT IBAN system ... Cheers, Peter
Hi, I'm sending money from Commonwealth bank to Kazakhstan quite often. To do a transfer you need to know a SWIFT code (e.g. KZKOKZKX001 for Kazkommertsbank) and IBAN number (KZ????????????????????????). This is not cheap, last time I sent AU$700 ... Read More
