Does anyone live in the city of Malatya?

GuestPoster307

How is the culture between men and women in this part of Turkey? If I am a foreigner in Malatya and a woman, how should I communicate with people?

Just try to be natural, starting your words with "merhaba" or "iyi günler" and finishing with "teşekkürler" is enough. If you need help for anythink you can ask it anyone you see they try to help you. But in general saying hello to everybody you see on the street or too much smiling face may take their attractions because unfortunately turkish people is not used to see that attitude as we are not that civilized country, at least in malatya. Except that if you try to hang out, try to hang out in main locations and street or in shopping the mall or to socialize in a violin course for example may help you. Also know that he people is conservative there.
