The rink is open till 11 so that should be ok. I'm meeting with a couple of people at 9.30 at oktyabrskaya brown line metro station. We'll be the 2nd batch of people and join the people who are already there:) if anybody wants to join no problem just warn me!!!

alex.ouyang and ninajanjetovic, hello. We're glad to have you here on the forum with us.  It would be even more fun if you came and spend some time with us.  Yesterday we went to Gorky park and it was cool.

Today we're going to play lazer-tag.  It's a game where you run around in the dark with guns and shoot each other with lazers.  Mike is the undefeated/undeniable champion but Elizabeth will hand his butt to him soon enough. lol

For everyone else who's reading this before leaving their house, Mike's plan fell through for reasons beyond his control.  So we'll go to the same place where we went to last time to play lazer-tag.  So we'll see everyone at 20:00 (8pm) Lubyanka.

Wow I missed a lot, I don't know why but I haven't been reviewing emails from the blog. Anyway, yes, yes I am undefeated, thank you for noticing! Hi Everyone, I've been in Moscow since the very end of July and have just started looking into meeting new people. With my work schedule and being very shy, this is all very new to me. I am only really available to go off on Sundays. If anything gets planned for a Sunday I think I would try to attend. Keep me posted thanks.

TMendy, are you serious?  You've been here since July and just now told us you exist.  It's unAmerican.  Don't you remember, together we stand.  We're all glad to meet you and hopefully we'll have something going on Sunday.  But Mike and I are extremely happy that you came by and decided to hang out with us.

A couple of us are going to meet up this next week:
on Tuesday we are going to cafe-club Gogol to meet with the couch surfing bunch
On Wednesday we are going to Papa's place's expat night (really cheap drinks, live band with great music, dance floor, great food...) for the reference it's the place we couldn't get into on saturday because there were too many people
When does everybody want to go iceskating??? Monday or Thursday? Feel free to join us guys any of these nights!!!!

And yeah the reason I am going on an organisation frenzy is that as I'm leaving soon I'm set on making the most of my last days in Moscow!!!! Believe it or not normally I'm the most spontaneous and unorganised person ever...

Just had a crazy thought - taking off Thursday and celebrating some kind of Thanksgiving! Ice skating sounds great, but nights don't work for me. Hopefully something will come up on a Sunday.

Hey everybody!!! So we are meeting at 6 today sunday on staraya arbatskaya in Starbucks. Looking forwards to meeting all the new comers!!!!

I can't make it tonight, was really hoping to meet you guys - it gets tougher to be here with each passing day, but evenings are hard for me. I might drag myself to the mall about 20 minutes from me if anyone is interested in going.

Hey Nat, I'm not familiar with the city yet. where is this Starbucks? Staraya or Arbat, seems to be 2 different place?

There is a street called "old Arbat" as in opposed to "new arbat " which is parallel to it. "staraya arbat" means old arbat which is the pedestrian street. The starbucks is about 5mn walk down old arbat from the metro very easy to find I would give you my number but my phone has just died... Look it up on the Internet it should be easy enough to find! Staraya arbat is right opposite Arbat metro station

But it's quite difficult from this point - about 3600 kilometers from Moscow :-).
It's really cold hear. Near -35 degrees by Celcius.
That's why I want to join you at warm and comfortable iceskating rink!

Today the rink was closed and so we did not make it :-(

But we are going today instead!!!!
