Coffee

I know coffee is not widely grown in Belize, but I know it will grow. Does anyone know of a supplier that can provide organically grown Belizean coffee for private labeling?

terrific

Coffee is grown quite a lot in Belize,  mainly in the south of the country. There are several local labelled companies, I would suggest you contact one of those to see if they can accomodate you.

Thank you,
There is not much info on the web. I tried to contact gallon jug, but there contact seems not to be valid. Maybe it's time for a trip down south and start asking around.

In Belize it is always easier to deal direct with people even companies with web sites and seemingly good info can be difficult to contact/deal with unless you can speak to the "Boss" in person.

Gallon Jug in Orange Walk District has organic coffee but it isn't certified as organic. Supposedly more coffee farms are popping up and small lodges are planting for guests to have local coffee but I haven't been able to find much info either. It was actually kind of hard finding real coffee beans in grocery stores when we were in Belize. Lots of instant crud.. :sosad:

Thanks,
I'll be back in Belize next week and will make some rounds and ask questions. Even a small farm that won't be ready production for a couple of years might work.

Monkey Town brew

There's another decent sized one besides gallon jug. I can't remember the name, but I can buy it at the groceries in Placencia.
